Analogue Travelogue

Analogue Travelogue is my personal journey through the things that interest me the most; travel, film photography, and documentary film making.

Analogue Travelogue is my journal.

Analogue Travelogue my creative outlet, a portfolio of ideas, and a public record of my exploration of this world.

To begin with, Analogue Travelogue will follow my attempt, with my girlfriend, to hike the Te Araroa (“The Long Pathway”) – a through-hike spanning the length of New Zealand; from Cape Reinga at the northern tip of the North island, to Bluff at the southern tip of the South Island. This will be my “travelogue” – my stream-of-conciousness account of the adventure to traverse an entire country.

I’m a passionate film (analogue) photography enthusiast, and amateur film-maker, and so with this in mind I have committed to carrying many kilos of film photography and digital-film-making equipment, to document this adventure in the best way I know how. For those with an interest in the technical side (“the gear”), please check the article about “The Project”.
